Refund policy

Returns:

I do not accept returned items. Please just keep, donate or discard as I cannot in good faith restock the items.

In cases of damages, defective items, or my error, I offer Replacements or Refunds detailed below.

Damages and issues:

These are handmade products and occasionally things go wrong. The vast majority of my handmade products are still being enjoyed years after purchase. I stand behind my products. If something goes wrong I will do my best to make it right.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately with a photo of the issue if the item is defective, damaged, doesn't fit or if you receive the wrong item.

If the item breaks within 90 days in your possession please contact me immediately with a photo of the damage to be eligible for a refund or replacement at no cost to you

If the item breaks after 90 days in your possession please contact me immediately with a photo of the damage to be eligible for a replacement with a $5 shipping fee.

Replacements:

If possible, I will offer an exact replacement for the damaged or defective item. Due to the nature of my products there may not always be an exact replacement available, in which case a similar item of equal value may be offered as a replacement.

Replacements for damages within 90 days of reception will be shipped at no cost to you.

Replacements for damages after 90 days of reception will include a shipping fee (varies by destination). 

Refunds:

In qualifying cases of damaged or defective items, refunds will be offered if preferred to replacement. Qualifying conditions outlined above. 

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us at theinspiredinstinct@gmail.com.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
